**Role**: Operations Administrator
**Reports to**:Logistics Manager
**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:30

**The role**
Maintains the generation and control of all documents and records within the department. Supports the logistics operations team in meeting the service & quality requirements of its internal & external customers based on the Company’s policies, procedures and instructions. Actively participates in projects, developments and the implementation of current and new ways of working.

**Key Duties**:

- Ensures all documentation is accurately validated and correctly stored.
- Builds and produces computerised reports using Microsoft and other software programmes.
- Assists in the control of inbound and outbound stock movements including load documentation and manifests.
- Reconciles, records & investigates customer claims
- Collects and collates KPIs and other data for management reports.
- Identifies and arranges periodic refresher training requirements.
- Maintains office housekeeping and periodically reviews the age of historic data.
- Assists in organising maintenance and repair on MHE & storage equipment.
- Carries out other tasks as directed by Warehouse Managers.
- Attends meetings and training sessions as required by the Warehouse Managers.
- Complies with the policies, procedures and rules of the Company.

**Requirements, Experience and Person Specification**:

- Administration Experience preferably in a similar role
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Conduct themselves in a responsible and courteous manner at all times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £24,738.28 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
