It’s an exciting time to join our client’s digital team as they deliver on a portfolio of projects and programmes including Customer Experience Transformation.

As User Researcher you’ll conduct user research and usability to inform digital product development. It’s a fast-paced environment where you’ll span all key elements of user design across the end journey. You’ll be involved in the creation of user stories, journey maps, workshop facilitation, service design of projects and guiding online user experience design. You’re also likely to be involved in:

- Developing user stories/journeys for customers and staff to guide and define product direction omni-channel and deliver success in user experience satisfaction.
- Supporting the onboarding of new digital and technology suppliers, ensuring our client’s agreed design principles are at the core of their outputs.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to inform digital product development, working closely with the Insight team and communicating findings across project teams.
- Reviewing and creating task/user/process flows based on user needs to ensure products are based on usability and functionality.
- Running ideation sessions and workshops to identify user pain points, ensuring stakeholders are fully engaged in the design process.

**Our client is looking for**

Given the nature of the role you’ll need to have proven experience in a similar role so that you can hit the ground running. You’ll also need to bring:

- Well-developed end to end user research experience, from ideation through to execution, analysis and recommendations.
- Experience in developing and using user research and insight.
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment.
- Proficiency in creation and use of user journey maps, storyboards, user stories, problem statements, process flows, interview and survey design.
- Ability to structure and lead workshops across multiple departments, ranging from discovery through to delivery, and to write up and present findings.
