Gilbert Meher are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading care providers who are looking for an interim Clinical Lead for a large care home providing residential, nursing and dementia care, based in the North West of England.
Overview
Role: Clinical Lead
Hours: Full Time
Contract Length: 3 months initially, with a view to extend
Rate of Pay: Up to £400 per day + Accommodation
Duties
- Working closely with the Home Manager to ensure efficient and effective day to day running of the home
- Making sure the level of clinical care goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements.
- Providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide an excellent service for residents
- Ensuring CQC compliance is met, and the homes rating is maintained
- Lead and mentor less experienced members of the team

Experience Required
- Qualified Nurse
- Active Nursing PIN
- A demonstrable record of CQC compliance as a Care Home Manager
- Experience in person centred care planning within a care home setting
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear enhanced DBS
