Due to expansion of the business, we require an experienced Project Procurement Buyer, you will have good communication skills, self-motivated to meet deadlines and able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. The role involves a wide range of duties to Support the Procurement Director and supply chain.

You will be working with the engineering and project delivery team to resolve issues, managing client expectations, negotiating compensation events, early warning notices and commercial risk whilst being focused on Project program and deliverables. As well as purchasing goods and services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets, identifying and mitigating risks at all stages of the Procurement process from initial inquiry through to program delivery and contract closure. The role will also include analysis on costs, preparing reports and raising purchase orders.

**Skills & Experience Required**:
We are looking for a buyer with experience within project environments, renewables, utilities, oil & gas, or construction where you have been involved in either full project buying or certain areas within a project. Experience in buying large high-value items is a necessity. Our projects involve mechanical, construction and electrical items; items include the likes of; high voltage and low voltage equipment, transformers, solar panels, all the way down to the nuts and bolts.
- Experience minimum 5 years within a Supply Chain role
- CIPS qualified or working towards
- Experienced in Dynamics 365 Purchasing and scheduling modules is highly desirable
- Analytical and numerically astute
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve goals.
- Self-driven, focused, results and quality-oriented
