**HEAD BARISTA (part-time)**

Aida Cafe is a coffee shop inside an independent multibrand store in the heart of Shoreditch. The store has three floors of apparel and homeware and the cafe plays an important part of our business. We sell Allpress coffee, sandwiches, homemade pastries,smoothies and juices.

We are looking for a Head Barista who will take ownership of managing all aspects of the Aida Cafe’s daily routines. Big part of this role is the customer service and coffee making but the job will also include training the new staff and taking ownership of all supply ordering for the cafe.

Customer service
- Excellent coffee making and latte art skills an ability to train on them
- Able to work quickly and efficient during busy periods
- Provide outstanding customer service by being fully committed to addressing the needs of the customer
- Preparing pastries and sandwiches for customers in the morning following company recipes and hygiene guidelines

Sales
- communicating the weekly sales and expenses to cafe manager in writing
- tracking all cafe expenses to shared excel consistently and accurately

Ordering
- independently in charge of all ordering for the cafe: food supplies, coffee, cups, fruits for smoothies etc.
- communicating cake and pastries needs to the cafe manager so amounts can be increased or decreased when needed

Training
- training the new baristas at all things Aida Cafe. Making the coffee, smoothies, juices etc
- organizing the AllPress training for the new baristas to take place as soon as possible from start date

Organizing
- Making sure the cafe area and back of house is tidy and organized at all times
- Producing and keeping daily and weekly checklists up to date and ensuring team is using them
- Adhering to health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- Looking after all equipment and maintain the highest standard of cleanliness

**Requirements**:

- at least 1 year of barista experience
- organized and reliably
- confident in supplies ordering

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-27 per week

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour

**Experience**:
