**More about your role**

You will be the central point of contact to ensure that the fleet of vans and vehicles our Trade Operatives use have valid certification (MOT/Insurance etc) and are in the right place at the right to time. You will support and guidance to all levels of operationalinternal staff find solutions to minimise our colleague's downtime wherever possible.

You will also aim to ensure the group is receiving a cost effective service by reducing the overall spend of the department and ensuring an efficient service is received from fleet suppliers.

This role is based in Preston allowing you to collaborate with the wider scheduling IT team. We are trialling hybrid working to provide a good work/life balance, so you will be able to split your time between home and the office in Preston.

**More about you**

Ideally you will have previous experience and a good understanding of running an effective fleet service for a geographically spread workforce. You will have strong communications skills and experience liaising with internal and external teams. It wouldbe beneficial if you had experience in researching, analysing, and evaluating approaches and providing suitable recommendations to address business needs.
