DELI LITES are currently recruiting for a Key Account Executive for our busy Sales department.

You will make a significant contribution to the day to day operational activities in order to meet customer requirements and continually seek to improve customer value and commitment to DELI LITES.

As Key Account Executive you will echo the quality, legality and authenticity of all our values at DELI LITES and give customers the opportunity to achieve their extraordinary results through the passion we have for our people and food.

**Your Duties**:

- In conjunction with your line manager, develop and ensure the execution of challenging personal sales targets, construct sales forecasts and monitor and report on sales achievement.
- Where required develop sales through planned strategies designed to identify, profile and analyse new business opportunities in target markets while continuing to provide quality service to existing customers
- Build and maintain strategic business relationships that will ensure the development of long term contract business and the expansion of sales and marketing opportunities for the company’s products.
- Introduce current and prospective retail customers to company products through the use of pre-scheduled one to one meetings and design and deliver formal sales presentations to large corporate clients.
- In conjunction with (your line manager provide product guidance, negotiate pricing and delivery requirements with customers, remaining aware at all times of impact on profit margins and of ‘sale or return’ implications.
- Assist with the identification of tender opportunities and the preparation of tender responses as required.
- Liaise with current customers on a regular basis to ensure they remain satisfied with the company’s products and service
- Update and maintain the CRM database with information on existing and potential customers
- Be present as an exhibitor at relevant shows and exhibitions, ensuring high visibility, supplies of samples and promotional materials and adequate staffing at exhibition stands.
- As required, assist with research and analysis, including the acquisition and collating of appropriate market intelligence and competitor profiles, in order to identify business opportunities.
- Meet regularly with the sales team to ensure effective communication of management information, and provide weekly sales activity reports and other information to enhance management decision making and inform future company direction.
- Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by your line manager.

**Essential Criteria**:

- English, Maths at GCSE Level or Equivalent recognised 3rd Level qualification in a Business Related Discipline
- 2-5 years previous commercial sales experience in the food sector within FMCG.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in preparations of customer proposals.

**Desired Criteria**:

- Previous experience of Chilled Foods

Experience facilitating customer processes at Key Account Level.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
