**The Opportunity;**
The People Services Data and Systems Analyst will report into the People Services Manager and will support the People Services team in a highly visible capacity to deliver a best in class service using the systems that are in place.The People Services Dataand Systems Analyst opportunity is a permanent full time role, working 37 hours per week, with hybrid working on offer and 28 days annual leave.
Key People Services Data and Systems Analyst responsibilities include:
- Own and manage on-going performance and development of the HR systems and ensure ongoing maintenance so that systems deliver an optimum service for our managers and colleagues.
- Develop standard and ad hoc reports, reporting templates, dashboards and metrics to drive business improvement and deliver key statistics and performance data for the business areas.
- Research, analyse and present data as requested and troubleshoot data and report to provide business efficiency.
- Identify, recommend and introduce workflows to enhance the system in support of the digitalisation agenda across People Services & Payroll.
- Support the People Services team with the development of Bernicia’s Benefits Reward Platform.
- Manage the timely completion of all transactional and cyclical activity including audits, ensuring accuracy of data provided and legal compliance.
- Work with the People Services Business Partners to understand current business activity and drivers behind the trends in key metrics.
- Play a key role in the data preparation and analysis of engagement survey outputs, carrying out a robust data review to produce reportable outcomes, and deliver all required reports to the business.
- Support the People Services team and People Business Partners with various projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Make recommendations to improve the colleague experience and service delivered to our managers and colleagues.
- Build effective working relationships with leaders, external stakeholders and colleagues.
- Ensure that the People Services & Payroll system supports equality, diversity and inclusion, customer care and data protection.
**The Person;**
The ideal People Services Data and Systems Analyst:
- Experience in data and systems reporting and analysis
- Microsoft Office skills, particularly excel
- A curious and investigative mindset
- Good level of analytical ability and critical thinking skills, with ability to design and undertake analysis
- Strong focus on data quality, attention to detail and ability to identify and work around data issues quickly and efficiently
- Ability to communicate data effectively
- Able to work largely unsupervised and on own initiative and demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic approach
- Able to work to strict deadlines and prioritise effectively and take ownership of deliverables
- Desirable - Experience of CascadeHR
- Desirable - Knowledge of HR industry reporting standards and metrics, including Gender Pay Gap
- Desirable - Experience in HR working environment and/or CIPD accreditation.
