**JOB TITLE**: Healthcare Coordinator - Temporary to Permanent

**LOCATION**: Taunton (Outskirts - due to the location you must be a driver)

**HOURLY RATE**:£11.50 per hour

**HOURS**:Monday - Friday, core hours 9am - 5pm however due to the nature of the role you will be required to work a minimum of 1 shift a week from 6:30am - 2:30pm and 5:00pm - 10:00pm, you will also be required to work 1 out of 3 weekendshowever you will get two days off the following week. **Weekend and evening work will be paid as additional overtime and work from home.**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Answering phones and dealing with service users, healthcare professional and care assistants
- Dealing with daily rota changes and updating the system ensuring the carers are aware of their rota changes for the day
- Ensuring service users visits are allocated to carers on a daily and weekly basis
- Inputting carers details onto the system
- Updating carers availability for the week
- Other duties to ensure smooth running of the department

**SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Prior administration or coordinator experience is desirable however not essential
- An interest or experience within healthcare is a must
- Strong computer skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Great problem solver with the ability to 'think outside of the box'
- Excellent team player with the ability to work independently
