**UCS HE Partnerships Coordinator**
**Taunton College**
**£25,484 - £27,114 per annum**
The vision for UCS, as part of the UCS College Group, is to be the first Further Education (FE) organisation to gain the consent of both the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and its university partner, University of the West of England (UWE), to deliver nursing degrees, and is already the first FE organisation to be invited and accepted into the Council of Deans of Health as an Associate Member. It now sits alongside university healthcare faculties at the heart of policy and political debate. In addition, the College Group has become the FE representative on NHS England’s Southwest Region Nursing and Midwifery Supply Board, actively contributing to removing barriers to health careers. Most recently it was awarded the Queens Anniversary Prize for its collaborative work with the NHS and UWE to create this groundbreaking approach.
As well as nursing, UCS also has a key role in the delivery of Degree Apprenticeships across the Nuclear sector through the National College for Nuclear (NCfN), also in association with UWE. With several exciting direct entry and higher/degree apprenticeship pathways currently in development and pipelined for development in other allied health professions and other sectors, it truly is an exciting time to join our team at UCS.
In this role you will have a key role within UCS, working with exceptional colleagues within the central HE Team and wider organisation, to oversee the administration and quality assurance of our higher education subcontracted provision. This includes overseeing the due diligence processes, coordinating admissions, monitoring quality assurance, and ensuring contractual compliance and successful delivery of partner programmes, in line with UCS policy and regulatory requirements.
We are looking for a confident individual, who will provide highly effective quality oversight to ensure the effective and successful delivery of our subcontracted provision to ensure and uphold outstanding student experience and outcomes.
Please note in this role there will be a requirement to:
- Visit subcontract partners several times in the academic year as part of the quality assurance process, which may include weekends therefore there will be a requirement to travel and work away, approximately 3/4 times over the year.
UCS is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and communities.
