Maintenance Consultant

Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting Maintenance Consulting roles, to support current Maintenance Department and Project Teams in the development of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data builds, data cleansing and optimisation projects - as well as improving performance, capability and growth of the CMMS data business and the use of the IMD, Integrated Maintenance Database (i.e. Wood’s proprietary CMMS Build Tool.)

Primary focus will be on developing documentation and data for CMMS system maintenance builds for new projects (greenfield) and further developing, enhancing, improving, optimising maintenance documentation and CMMS Data on systems currently in use within operations (brownfield), with an overarching objective of delivering maintenance regimes to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel, and production processes in operations.

**The Role**
- Provide input to and technical leadership on maintenance data building, cleansing and optimization projects
- Undertake project reviews in accordance with Wood’s review and checking procedures, and provide feedback to maintenance team and project processes
- Review and approve assigned Wood deliverables
- Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments
- Provide maintenance consultancy technical support to the wider Wood business
- Ensure that Wood delivery methodologies incorporate industry recognized best practices
- Provide consultancy specific input to scope definition and execution for business development proposals and new project work scopes
- Manage budgets, costs, and resourcing for assigned projects
- Prepare monthly cost and progress reports and attending client performance review meetings for assigned projects
- Maintenance consultancy input for early stage engineering projects at concept, pre-FEED and FEED stages. This would include operability and maintainability reviews, RAM modelling, and maintenance philosophy development.
- Maintenance consultancy input for asset lifecycle information management and digitalisation projects
- Acting as the main focal point and interface coordination with wider Wood consultancy teams, such as integrity management, condition monitoring, technical safety, and reliability engineering
- Provide discipline input across maintenance, reliability, and asset management work scopes, which may include the following specific activities: maintenance strategy development; critical spares reviews; maintenance data builds; data cleansing; reliability, availability, and maintainability modelling; FMEA / RCM; RCAs; and criticality assessments
- Carry out periodic QA / QC audits over CMMS developed data to ensure build is in accordance with guidelines and aligned to client expectations
- Delegate tasks, and undertake review of peer and junior personnel work in accordance with checking procedures
- Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific and client procedures in execution of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) work activities. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of procedures, if applicable
- Provide guidance on project set - up with regards to maintenance related data requirements / structure / delivery format / client CMMS master data values, etc.
- Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments
- Provide discipline technical support to the wider Wood business
- Provide discipline specific input to scope definition and execution for new project work scopes
- Clearly communicate any identified improvements to service execution
- Ensure quality of delivery
