PCM are a preferred, often sole, parking operator for many of the leading housing associations, property management companies, developers, and landowners in the UK. Due to our growth, we have recently rebranded as The UK Parking Group Limited, encompassing three separate companies including Parking Control Management UK Ltd, UK Signs Ltd and Parking Group Management Ltd.
**WHAT ARE THE ROLES AVAILABLE?**
We are looking to increase our administration team and have vacancies for office administrators for Parking Control Management. These positions are solely based at our head office in Slough within either our Permit Management Team or our Parking Charge Notice Processing Team.
**Permit Management Team**
Our dedicated Permit Management Team is one of the aspects of the organisation that we really pride ourselves on. This is the customer service area of our business, so you will need to have strong skills in this area. In this role, there are several tasks you may be assigned - from processing and printing permits to providing advice to callers. You will be dealing with a high volume of incoming calls from members of the public, clients, and customers. This role is dynamic and fast-paced so would suit someone who is able to efficiently multi-task and work well under pressure.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be confident, flexible, have an excellent work ethic and most importantly, demonstrate high attention to detail.
**Parking Charge Notice Processing Team**
This role will involve working within our Parking Charge Notice Team. For this role, you will need to be confident, flexible, have an excellent work ethic/attitude and, most importantly, have a great attention to detail. We are looking for team members who are committed and who flourish in challenging situations.
You will be dealing with a high volume of appeal correspondence, as well as incoming calls from members of the public, clients, and customers. You must be able to multitask calmly and efficiently, without compromising on quality of work.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be well organised and able to produce accurate written work of a high quality. It is important that tasks are performed accurately and in line with relevant legislation and professional guidelines.
**EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS**
**Skills and Personal Characteristics**
No industry experience is needed as full training will be provided, but this role would suit people with the following skills/ characteristics.
- An excellent level of both written and spoken English - able to produce strong and articulate written work.
- The ability to ensure tasks are performed accurately and to a high standard, in line with policy and legal requirements.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills - able to multi-task effectively
- A professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
- A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong customer service skills. The ability to communicate with all internal/external contacts and clients in a confident, professional, appropriate, and positive manner.
- The capacity to identify potential issues before they occur and react appropriately.
- Strong team player and able to support and contribute actively to team situations as well as the ability to work independently.
- Skilled at working under pressure, remaining calm at all times. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Tangible requirements**
- **Essential**_
- A*-C grade GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- **Advantageous**_
- Previous experience in an administrative &/or customer service role, or roles promoting skills that are transferable to an office environment.
- Previous industry experience
**WHAT DO WE OFFER?**
- Permanent position (pending a three-month probationary period)
- Full time work of 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with a paid 1-hour lunch break.

Salary starts at **£24,960.00**per annum increasing to between £25,074.65 - £25,303.95 per annumfollowing the successful completion of a probationary period.
