**Sales and Purchasing Engineer**

An exciting position has become available for a sales and planning engineer to be based in our office on the Rotherham / Sheffield Border. This is a varied and interesting role supporting multiple departments in the business with involvement in sales, purchasingand planning. You will need to be a highly organised, self-motivated and customer focused individual with a desire to see all transactions through to a successful conclusion; whilst constantly striving to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Salaryrange £30,000 - £34,000pa.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Raising sales quotations for both end users and distributors
- Verifying and processing customer orders
- Liaising between suppliers, internal departments, and customers, ensuring key information is passed on as and when necessary
- Scheduling work and liaising with the Engineering team
- Placement of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of all required materials and services
- Managing workshop inventory and engineering equipment
- Supporting the Managing Director and sales team

**Key Skills and Qualifications**
- A recognised engineering qualification with a basic understanding of plant and machinery
- Strong communication skills to deal with a broad range of customers and suppliers
- Building and maintaining relationships with relevant parties through strong interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to learn and develop product and service knowledge
- Competency on all Microsoft Office programs
- Analytical skills
- Working on your own initiative with minimum supervision
- Beable to prioritise workload and be a good team player
