**We are looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join our team, working Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.00pm Friday**
As a Purchasing Administrator reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for selecting and procurement of raw materials, consumable products and services for CWI UK Ltd. Your responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, creating and maintaining an inventory, quality assurance of products and liaising with sales, production and management.
**Principle Accountabilities**:
- Responsible for the purchasing administration for the procurement of all goods and services.
- Ensure consumable items are available to production at their required stock levels, by obtaining the required stock check sheets completed by production.
- Raising of purchase order requisitions and purchase orders
- Stock material - produce the report for rod meetings and raise orders following this.
- Monitor rod stock is on schedule and manage shipping documentation as required.
- Chase purchase orders and update Sales/Production if delivery dates change.
- Maintain paperless purchase records within D365, i.e. scanning of POD’s.
- Get approval from the ordered departmental head to verify that the order is correct and meets the required specifications of the produced goods.
- Assist with regular stock checks.
- Carrying out any other duties as deemed appropriate for the role.
**Position Requirements**:
- Purchasing experience in a manufacturing role (ideally within the steel industry).
- Experience in Importing and buying in multi-currencies.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of D365 and MRP or equivalent
- Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
