**About the Role**

The Accounts Receivable Administrator will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing customers, to control, reduce & maintain debt levels in line with agreed processes. The role is part of a wider team who are responsible for all credit control, invoicing and treasury for UK&I.

**Responsibilities**
- Reconciling accounts as and where necessary, considering eventualities such as unravelling accounts and reallocating as necessary
- Liaising with internal teams to assist with resolving customer issues
- Maintaining customer accounts and ensuring contact details are kept up-to date
- Dealing with queries from customers, providing timely responses and resolutions, following set processes
- Assisting with obtaining a PO for invoices raised
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and CS team
- Proactively seeking ways to make improvements to systems and processes as part of continuous improvement
- Ensuring all collection notes & disputes are clearly documented
- Assist with monitoring weekly aged debt movements and resolutions
- Creating and posting journals on sales ledger, general ledger and purchase ledger
- General administration duties
- Setting up of new customer accounts
- Assist finance colleagues in forecasting cash collection projections
- Monitor any ‘at risk’ accounts, following the set out process
- Support wider team with any add hoc administration tasks

**Qualifications**
- Qualified by experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to prioritise workloads and competently schedule call-backs with customers
- IT Literate in Microsoft Excel Word & Outlook
- Problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
