Interim Planned Investment Manager

Our client, a Regional affordable housing organisation based in the South of England require an Interim Retrofit / Planned investment Manager to join there expanding Asset division.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead on Identifying suitable homes and plan and put together a programme and budget for undertaking the retrofit works to all existing Stock and regularly provide reports to board and others on progress against budget and programme
- Ensuring data on stock sustainability performance is regularly updated and reported.
- Plan schedule of retrofit surveys of existing properties to ascertain and take responsibility for signing off assessments.
- Identify suitable contractors and consultants to work with and assist creating frameworks or informal contract arrangements to call off for specific packages of sustainable retrofit works.
- Ensure that tender documents, including contract terms and conditions and specifications for retrofit works are suitably robust to minimise risk, particularly in relation to overheating, mould and damp, variations, cost increases, standards of materialsand time delays.
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:
- Ability to evidence sound knowledge of Planned Investment and experience in managing the delivery of Asset management strategy Plans, specifically Retrofit programmes.
- Knowledge of relevant statutory obligations related to the construction industry and housing sector e.g., CDM regulations, Building Regulations and Low carbon Legislation
- Confidence in using a range of different systems to access data and ensure alignment of key information
- An agile approach with the ability to work successfully on multiple projects at different stages, effectively prioritising tasks with different teams.
- Experience in managing, motivating, and inspiring an existing asset team
You will ideally have a minimum further education qualification (HNC / HND / Degree) and / or relevant RICS / MCIOB (or equivalent) qualifications.
You will also preferably have experience of working within an affordable housing provider or Public Sector property organisation with a track record in delivering planned investment programmes for work specifically Retrofit. Robust contract management/assetmanagement skills would also be considered (i.e., a strong track record delivering planned programmes etc).
Experience from within a housing, property services or repairs and maintenance background would be preferred. You will also be experienced of reporting to Executive management teams & board level.
