Job description
A fixed term opportunity has arisen in our HR department for a Systems Administrator. The purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient day to day running of Human Resources is achieved by effective administration of all HR systems. To ensure a high standard of service is provided to customers and stakeholders. To conduct ongoing reviews of system configuration with a focus on automation and the creation of efficiencies and additional capacity wherever possible. To assist the Head of Workforce Planning in the implementation of new HR systems.**Why work for**Us**?**

**Recruitment and Selection Policy**
Internal applicants who are at risk of redundancy or in need of redeployment and pass the selection process, will be offered the role over the remaining internal and external applicants.
Please be aware that the Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service and Northamptonshire Police are separate employers. Although vacancies are open to all, if you are successful, the change of employer will require a longer onboarding process and you will receive a new contract and payroll number. Service with either employer can be carried over as continuous service.
**Police Barred and Advisory lists**
Individuals placed on the Police Barred and Advisory lists will not be considered for employment for a minimum of 5 years from the date of listing in the case of gross misconduct, or 3 years from the date of listing in the case of poor performance.
