**PMO Resource Coordinator - Resource Scheduling - Birmingham**

The **Resource Coordinator** will have day-to-day responsibility for the scheduling of resources across all projects, presales, and internal activities and will keep the resource planning tool up to date, real-time, with all resource bookings.They will manage and find solutions for resource requests based on skills, availability, and project priorities and validate assignments with the Practice Leads to ensure assigned resources have the skills and aptitude to deliver the required task.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To own the resource planning tool, ensuring it is kept up to date and accurate with all resource bookings and absence to ensure a single point of truth, and using it to provide accurate MI reporting
- To liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders to fully understand resource requirements considering priority, timescales, and impact, and using this information to make informed decisions on conflicting resource bookings
- To induct and train new starters on the resourcing process, and to create and maintain resourcing training materials
- To ensure that all resources are adequately planned for according to their target utilization and that their time is managed via the resourcing booking system, providing early escalation and recommendations where under-utilization and over-utilization areidentified
- To check that Solution's contractors' CMS timesheets match their PSA timesheets and the expected number of days worked per month

**Key Skills**
- Proven PMO/Project Analyst or Coordinator experience
- Expert knowledge of using a resource booking tool/solution
- Proven resource planning and allocation experience or proven experience with supply and demand planning
- Experienced user of MS Project and MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated capability for problem-solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
- Proven experience of working in an environment with resources possessing differing skill sets

**Salary**
- The salary my client is offering for this position is up to £27,000 depending on experience, with excellent benefits including a yearly performance bonus scheme and more. _
