Job title: PMO Lead
Contract length: 6-12 months

My client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor-owned Energy companies in the world. They play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North-Eastern US in anefficient, reliable, and safe manner.
Provide PMO leadership for the one of the key programmes as part of the wider Future System Operator programme. Ensuring effective management of the overall project planning, delivery, and governance, including providing co-ordination across all relevant workinggroups, and steering committees.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure project standards are adhered to across all workstreams and be the driver for consistency with project delivery.
- Provide support and co-ordination with meeting agendas and minutes, project website, and any relevant reports.
- Manage overall project plans, working with workstream lead and project manager to ensure plans are on track.
- Provide effective coordination for the project and programme team, ensuring all meetings are supported with clear agendas, minutes, and actions
- Ensure appropriate project and programme governance is in place, and adhered to, with clear escalation routes
- Support the project team with any reports when required
- Work with Project analysts to ensure resources are properly planned and managed throughout project lifecycle
Desirable Experience
- Proven experience as a PMO Lead with a demonstrable track record of PMO delivery
- Experience in both waterfall and agile project delivery
- Comfortable working with and challenging project managers and workstream leads across the business
- Experience in advanced change management tools
- Experience in MS Projects would be helpful
