An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Cancer Admin Assistant Faster Diagnosis for East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust based at Kent & Canterbury Hospital.

We are looking for a keen individual to be able to work with a team of experienced Cancer Multi Disciplinary Members to learn new skills and progress your career within Cancer services.

This role is patient focused to ensure we meet the Faster Diagnosis Standard for all our Cancer patients.
- To provide a high quality administrative, clerical service to ensure the smooth running of the multidisciplinary team meetings (MDM). Assisting MDM coordinator in preparing for an MDM.
- The post holder will act as the first point of contact for retrieving case notes for the multidisciplinary team meetings responding professionally, effectively and appropriately to all enquiries.
- To liaise professionally at all times with medical, nursing, clinical support, clerical and secretarial staff to ensure the MDM are well prepared, with documentation available at the appropriate start time, accurate patient information is maintained and agreed follow -up action taken.
- Work in a team based administrative service providing support for each other and ensuring continuity of the service.
- To update Infoflex (Cancer Database) with relevant tracking information provided.
