As Holiday Park Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the park is managed in line with the standards, objectives, and business expectation. Reporting to the General Manager for your park, you will liaise closely with the company’s contractors, and manage a small team of park support staff. You will ensure customer enquiries and maintenance issues are dealt with promptly. You will seek to maximize up-selling opportunities and help make a success of this ambitious new business.

Main Responsibilities:

- Management of all aspects of the operation and maintenance of the park, covering the touring pitches, ablutions, reception, club house, swimming pool and shop in accordance with company standards.
- To be responsible for the security of the park, including the safekeeping of all keys, safekeeping of takings and the safekeeping of all buildings in line with written procedures available on site.
- To ensure that the park is operated within the bounds of the site license.
- To ensure the park has all the appropriate licenses to operate legally safely in all aspects.
- To identify opportunities to expand, promote and develop the business, maximizing pitch sales and ancillary revenue streams such as the shop and clubhouse.
- Undertake risk assessments as required, maintain records, develop and document processes and procedures and perform a quality assurance role to ensure company standards are maintained and improved.
- To direct maintenance team in ensuring flowerbeds, grassed areas, roads, pavements, and other communal areas are immaculately maintained.
- To direct maintenance team in ensuring pitches are maintained in between bookings.
- Drive park maintenance standards across the site including strategic placement and cleanliness of signage, maintenance and replacement of all equipment and vehicles, maintenance of park lighting, waste collection, maintenance and operation of the sewerage systems and other communal facilities.
- To provide practical and workable solutions to enquiries, calls, queries, and issues raised by customers and resolve within timescales set out by Management.
- Actively maintain good relations with suppliers, contractors and tradesmen who have been requested to attend the park and to ensure park liability insurances are in place prior to attendance and sign in procedures followed.
- Plan, organize and run events throughout the year to promote the park and develop returning customers.
- To ensure the highest levels of customer service are consistently delivered.
- To ensure all customers are acting in accordance with site licenses and site rules.
- To oversee the administrative function and provide support where necessary.
- To ensure that any complaints are dealt with in accordance with the company Complaints Procedure.
- To maintain knowledge and awareness of all company policies, processes and procedures and ensure that all Park staff are compliant with them.
- Assist with recruitment, training and management of staff to develop a high performing team.
- Manage staff through development of rosters, holiday and absence requests, performance management.
- To ensure that staff are trained to meet statutory health and safety requirements and maintain all appropriate compliance and H&S records.
- Ensure staff are trained and appropriately skilled/ticketed in the use of equipment, chemicals and pesticides to be able to carry out their duties safely and competently.
- Ordering supplies, stock and equipment.
- To make regular financial and operational reports to the General Manager.

You must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom and have a full, clean driving license. Weekend, evening and Bank Holiday working will also be required.

High level of written and spoken English
