I have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to form part of an existing HR team in Northampton but will need to work independently on a different site to the main HR function. The purpose of this role is to provide the business with day to day expertise and supporting managers with all HR and ER related topics and can offer a consistent, comprehensive HR support and advice on policies and employment legislations.

You will need to be able to gel with all management teams including key stakeholders to deliver the best HR guidance.

Key Accountabilities:

- Support the management team recruitment activity to ensure that the organisation is resourced at the right time with the right people
- Responsible for the accurate and timely input of information into the payroll system
- Provide generalist HR advice under guidance of the UK HR Manager
- Ensure all paperwork for new employees is issued accurately and promptly and represents a positive employer brand
- Responsible for the maintenance of all personnel and training records ensuring they are secure and compliant with the Data Protection Regulations
- Build strong relationships across the business to share best practice and provide mutual support and functional expertise
- Administrative support to the HR manager in the development of strategies for the business to manage key legislative changes
- Management and analysis of training records
- Carry out in-house training as appropriate meeting development needs in a cost-effective manner
- Provide support to the management team in resolving and managing all aspects of day to day employee relations including: disciplinaries, grievances and sickness management
- Support the HR Manager in the development, continuous improvement and implementation of HR policies and practices in support of the business objective

Experience and skills required
- Previous experience working with HR - working stand alone would be desirable
- An approachable character
- HR Generalist with exposure to a fast paced working environment
- Managed ER cases and offered sound HR advice
