**The Role**
Nigel Wright is delighted to be supporting a housing organisation with their search for Scheduling Manager to join an existing team.You will be responsible for the Scheduling Team Lead, Senior Scheduler, Schedulers, Administrative Assistants.
**Purpose of the Role**:

- To lead and manage a team operating the scheduling / forecasting systems for Responsive Repairs, Voids, Compliance, and other property related schemes.
- To provide effective support for the Property Services Manager and Operation Managers and team leaders in ensuring continuity of the operations service by resolving day to day issues in relation to work allocation and operative availability.
- Ensure that service delivery is effective and efficient, well managed and in line with agreed Service Levels.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in developing existing systems and processes ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

**Duties**:

- To manage job scheduling and administration linked to Repairs, Voids & Compliance across the Beyond Housing area.
- To manage the team operating the scheduling and forecasting systems (Repairs, Voids & Compliance) with a consistent one team approach to ensure the correct/appropriate operative with the designated skill can respond to work programmed.
- To manage the administration team with a consistent one team approach to ensure the team are effectively supporting their colleagues.
- To maintain the scheduling systems on a day-to-day basis to achieve maximum operative efficiency.
- Ensure adequate staffing resource are available at all times, organising suitable cover for planned and unplanned absences in the team.
- To project manage any upgrades to the scheduling software.
- Work effectively with the Team Leader on issues and pressures on demand and operative availability which arise outside of their own level of responsibility and resolve these wherever possible.
- Work effectively with Team Leader to ensure the administration teams are supporting the operations teams
- Work with and guide Team Leader in provision of support and training to other sections of the company that use the scheduling software, including process design and implementation.
- To work within the Company service definition and guidelines in respect of work allocation and arrangement of services
- To lead and guide the team ensuring they liaise with Contractors & Customers to ensure good customer service is achieved.
- Approve invoices
- Ensure all data for operations work is accurately entered on the systems and monitor and report on team performance of the scheduling and administration teams.
- To have a strong profile and ability to work collaboratively with other departments, including Service Team Leaders, communities team and service Centre, on a day to day basis, to ensure the smooth running of the section and repairs service
- To contribute to effective communication within the Customer and Communities Division by passing on relevant information.

- To provide reports as required and requested by the Property Services and Operational Managers along with system reports from Infosuite within DRS.
- To manage the team in line with Company policy
- To be a lead in the monitoring of the scheduling system and future development
- Responsibility for a small to medium staff group
