**How you’ll make an impact**
It’s an exciting time for the accounting industry as it undergoes a large-scale digital transformation. You will work closely with the Partner Consultants who are working with our accounting and bookkeeping partners to help them set up their practices for success in a new world of digital accounting by delivering beautiful consulting experiences. You’ll play a key part ensuring our consulting services continue to differentiate Xero from the competition, supporting our UK partners to activate and adopt the Xero Platform and helping Xero to deliver at scale.
This role is responsible for creating Independent, skilled and confident Xero Partners. You’ll work with accountants within Accountancy Practices and Bookkeepers. You will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of business plans for the Partners to implement their cloud strategies. You will engage with partners on 1:1 and 1:many basis.
**What you'll do**:
- Form effective relationships with key contacts at Partners in order to accelerate the migration of client accounts from legacy systems to the Xero platform
- Work closely with Partner Consultants and other stakeholders within Xero to build the most appropriate Xero deployment plans
- Communicate risks and obstacles to rapid deployment success internally within Xero such that remedial action can be considered and actioned
- Contribute to and assist in the management of Partner Implementation Plans - providing appropriate support and guidance to ensure success. Providing feedback to the business about how we can continually improve this process
- Work with pods to support the implementations of Xero in your area of specialism, delivering implementations to a high standard
- Work with pods to drive the data conversion process, working closely with Partner Consultants, GMT and our Partners
- Cultivate relationships with ‘Xero Champions’ in target Partners, responding in a timely manner to partner queries
- Use your experience and Xero knowledge to challenge and improve the use of Xero and associated tools (Partner Add-Ons, Practice Software)
- Present at Xero Workshops, Roadshows and other partner facing conferences
- You’ll maintain a set of KPI’s and report on performance regularly to your peers and manager
**What you'll bring with you**:
- Knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice is desirable
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance role, with an understanding of tax returns
- Working knowledge of Xero Tax is desirable
- Presentation and/or Training delivery experience
- Accounting software knowledge and workflow processes
- Understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills and an enthusiasm for building strong relationships
- Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners
- Loads of initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Process driven mindset
