Carpentry, maintenance, technician role is to action all fabric maintenance requests within the site. These include; general carpentry, 2nd fix, making-good, reactive repairs and minor plumbing. Shift work, days and nights, four days on and four days off.

**Description**
- Carpentry
- Deal responsibly with emergencies
- To be first point of contact for emergency repairs including being part of an on call out of hours rota and evening shift - Liaise with, monitor and control the activities of all outside contractors working on the college estate.
- To be proficient in the installation and maintenance of door locking systems. To act as a mentor to junior/apprentice staff
- To advise on fabrics improvements

**Profile**
- Estates carpentry knowledge in a repair and maintenance background
- Ability to survey works, list and order materials required for tasks
