A personal assistant works directly with an individual, to support them with their daily life so that they can live it in a way they choose. PA’s are usually employed directly by the person that needs care and support, this will usually be managed and paid for through direct payments.

Some roles and responsibilities may include:

- Maintaining relationships with family and friends
- Going out in the community
- Support with hobbies and interests (e.g swimming, baking, shopping)
- Support with household tasks (e.g cooking, cleaning, laundry)
- Booking and attending hospital and other appointments
- Dealing with finances

**Roles**:
TYL1 - Tyldesley - We’re looking for two reliable Personal Assistants to support a gentleman with day-to-day living. The role will be 24 hours per week, split between two people (days and times to be discussed).About the Role:
Support with feeding and personal care
Encouragement to get outdoors for walks and fresh air
Use of Motability vehicle for outings and appointments (must be a driver)
Involvement in hobbies and interests - sports and health
Experience with MND is preferredPA must be:
Reliable, caring and patient
Willing to work flexibly as part of a small team
Comfortable providing both practical and personal support
A driver with a clean licencePay:
£13.20 per hour (Rate of pay negotiable for experienced PAs)

**Qualifications could include**:

- Proven experience in care settings, particularly in assisted living and nursing homes
- Strong skills in patient care, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care
- Familiarity with hospice and senior care practices
- Certification in first aid and medication administration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and meal preparation
- Valid driver's license and experience in childcare or behavior management

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £13.20 per hour
