**Community Access Support Worker**
**We have vacancies in our homes based in Tyldesley.**

Experience with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Behaviours of concern and an understanding of PBS is preferred. However, we will also consider individuals whose values align with our own and are committed to offering outstanding person-centred care.
Our starting salary if you have not worked in our field before is £24,025.72 per annum plus £68.90 per sleep-in (not waking nights).
If you have 12 months learning disability/Autism experience and have completed a care certificate, we offer £24,538.80 per annum plus £68.90 per sleep-in (not waking nights).

**About us**
City Care is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of specialist services for adults with learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Condition (with associated learning disabilities). With more than 30 years’ experience we provide bespoke and innovative assessment and care packages in a range of supported living models which include 24hour domiciliary care and residential care home support services.
**The Role**
- Support in accessing activities including hiking, swimming, horse riding, dog walking, arts & crafts, music, drama and socialising with others.
- Making a real and lasting difference to people’s lives.
- Assisting with day to day living tasks, including preparing and cooking meals.
- Completing paperwork to a good standard.
- Supporting our clients to live as independently as possible.
- Companionship - accompanying clients in their homes and out of their homes for activities such as cinemas, pubs, football, fishing, canal boating and shopping.
- Encouraging positive relations with all involved.
**All applicants will be required to hold a full UK/EU manual driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months to enable you to drive the company or the client's vehicles.**
Shifts are given 4 to 6 weeks in advance. All rotas cover a 7 day period, mornings, afternoons, evenings, including sleep ins.

Supplemental pay types:
- Optional overtime at enhanced rate
- On average an extra £275.60 per month if you do one sleep a week, more if you do more sleep shifts a week
