Qualified Accountant required to join the Finance Function of this Global Listed Company as a 'Financial Accountant'. Based in Glasgow, you willwork as part of small local financial accounting team, whilst collaborating with other finance teams across the business on a global level.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the month end, quarter end and year close processes
- Collaborating with the financial stakeholders locally and in other regions of the business.
- Assisting the offshore team with specific reporting areas.
- End to end responsibility of the balance sheet and providing corresponding analysis.
- Preparing relevant financial documents under IFRS/UK GAAP
- Assisting with the monthly payroll processes
- Reviewing and managing journal entries
- Continuously driving process improvement across the team via the systems used
- Supporting ad hoc project related work.

Applicants will be Qualified Chartered Accountants (CA/ACCA/CIMA), ideally with Accounting and Reporting experience gained within a large corporate environment. Ideal for an ambitious newly qualified accountant. It is advantageous to have key knowledge of IFRSand UK GAAP. You will be a strong technical accountant, excellent excel skills and enjoy collaborating as part of a wider team to drive continuous improvement.
