Business Support Assistant

**Job Brief**
You will serve as a point of contact for assisting the business with Administration duties and answering customer enquiries over the telephone and arranging deliveries to UK customers.
**Responsibilities**
- Answering incoming phone calls, taking messages, dealing with customer enquiries and following through where required (not limited to orders, delivery issues and initial complaints)
- Greet any visitors to the offices in a professional manner and provide refreshments when appropriate.
- Maintain the office filing/archiving system in both hard and electronic format.
- Updating transport costs in FMS
- Proactively assist with the smooth running of the department.
- Provide cover for goods inward/booking in of stock when required
- Manage/maintain goods in dashboard (not limited to chasing deliveries & notes, contacting suppliers and laisising with purchasing)
- Cross-reference invoices against Purchase orders and delivery notes ensuring both are uploaded to FMS
- Data entry for the accounts payable invoices to DEXT system (in-house training provided)
- Understand account statements and liase with accounts reguarding overdue payments/accounts
- Operate internal Business Management System (BMS) and assist in further development and improvement of the system. (Full training will be provided).
- Placing orders onto FMS system
- Sales Administration including updating customer price lists and distributing to the required personnel.
- Provide cover for the Business Support functions during absence
- Provide cover with controlling and booking UK deliveries, liaising with the customer and Production Manager regarding delivery

- IT and MS Office proficient
**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
