ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Kidderminster, starting January 2026 📅. This is a full-time role supporting children and young people from primary through to post-16 with complex and profound learning needs. About the role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalised support to pupils with a wide range of special educational needs ❤️. Working closely with teaching staff and professionals, you will help students access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. Key responsibilities include: Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support to pupils with complex and profound learning needs Supporting the delivery of individualised education and care plans Encouraging engagement, communication, and independence 🌱 Working collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals 🤝 Promoting pupils’ emotional wellbeing About the school The school is a specialist all-through provision in Kidderminster, supporting pupils with a range of needs including complex and profound learning difficulties, autism, speech and language communication needs.
