Administrator / Health & Safety Co-ordinator

**The Person**
You will be a vibrant, confident individual, with a professional and positive telephone manner who is used to working as part of a small team but who also knows how to work on their own initiative. Ideally you will already have health & safety experience in your current employment, but it is not essential.
**The Role**
The role is office based, working from our office in NG21 and is a full-time position - 35 hours per week.
Primary element of this role is to
- Assisting our clients with SSIP Accreditations & answering the telephone to new & prospective clients.
- Supporting clients with their day-to-day H&S queries by signposting them to the right person.
- Occasionally attending site with other staff in a supporting role
- Making proactive outbound calls to clients & prospective clients.
- Selling services to new and existing clients.
- General office administration duties

- Being Computer literate and competent in
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Time management
- Work attendance
- Management of own work schedules/loads.
- Being able to prioritize workloads.
- Being presentable and professional, with a good telephone manner.
- Being able to work as part of a team.
- Strict attention to detail - you will need the ability to produce accurate and thorough work, with a strong eye for detail.
- Being able to demonstrate integrity and pride when representing our company.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skill - be able to develop a close working relationship with our clients and other staff members.
- Complete all the administrative work involved with this position to a high standard.
- Having good communication skills both written and verbal.
**Desirable Skills -**
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Having an IOSH Managing Safely qualification
- Knowledge of SSIPs (CHAS, SMAs, Acclaim)
- Being First Aid trained
**Benefits**
£23,000 pa + bonuses + occasional overtime
Monday to Friday 9-5, this includes a one-hour lunch break each day
