The role is perfect for anyone who is interested in a career in fundraising, the non-profit sector but doesn’t know where to begin. There will be an opportunity to develop a range of transferrable skills. This post sits in the Fundraising Directorate which sits in the Income Generation Directorate of YMCA England & Wales. The Fundraising Directorate generates income for YMCA England & Wales and local YMCAs, as well as providing support and advice to local YMCAs.

**Job Description**:
As a key new role within the Fundraising team, the Senior Fundraising Officer (Legacies) will work to generate long term income for YMCA England and Wales
- End to end campaign management of smaller scale fundraising stewardship campaigns, working with external agencies and suppliers;
- Support with sector research into innovative areas of development within fundraising;
- Develop marketing case studies including collating information and sourcing suitable imagery;
- Create regular campaign and financial reports using finance management software;
- Compile, update and create contact lists and other data administration files using Microsoft Excel; and
- Oversee the supporter fulfilment process, working with an external supplier.
