Educational Lead for Trainee Advanced Clinical

We currently have an
exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)
with a passion for training and development of trainee ACPs and Senior Clinical
Practitioners (SCPs). The job holder will play a pivotal role in supporting the
trainee ACPs whilst undertaking their MSc. in Advanced Clinical Practice and
the SCPs in their development of clinical skills, clinical decision making
& diagnostics and non-medical prescribing.
You
will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as an ACP and a mentor
qualification, along with a keen interest in teaching and supporting
clinicians. Previous experience in clinical education is desirable.
The post holder will support
the HoN and HoL in the development of all staff and clinical services across
the organisation so that they are of the highest quality and offer maximum
effectiveness in meeting patient needs and expectations, achieving all required
standards.
The role requires the
post holder to have the skills and knowledge to provide clinical support the
service at times of high demand and service needs in order to maintain clinical
competence and clinical credibility. Non
Medical prescribing will also be a key function of this role.
