Our client - ranked as a Tier 1 team in legal directories for over 14 years - are seeking a highly ambitious non-contentious Construction Solicitor at Associate level to join their Commercial Construction & Engineering team based in London.
On a day to day basis, you can expect to:
- Draft and negotiate on a wide range of construction documents;
- Act as the main point of contact for a number of clients;
- Deliver high standards of work, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed;
- Delegate work as appropriate to junior members of the team;
- Contribute to group pitches and the publication of articles;
- Contribute to team training and know how;
- Draft and negotiate a number of contracts across various suites of standard forms, including JCT and NEC;
- Draft and negotiate bespoke consultant appointments;
- Advise in connection with agreements for lease;
- Advise in connection with the construction aspects of facility agreements;
- Advise in connection with the construction aspects of corporate SPAs;
- Advise clients in regulated environments i.e. Rail, healthcare.
