Business Development

**Job Purpose**
The purpose of this role is to progress incoming Marketing Qualified Leads through the sales funnel to a Sales Qualified Lead. You will do this through by converting all qualified incoming leads over the phone and booking a meeting with a Solutions Salespersonor a BU head.
You will also generate leads through outbound phone activity to prospects and be the first point of contact for cross sell leads generated in different parts of the business.
**Skills, knowledge, and experience required**
- You will have experience qualifying leads In a B2B environment.
- You will have proactive (over the phone) Sales experience and are used to high activity KPIs
- You will have the ability to understand complex client solutions.
- Ideally, you have experience providing demos to prospects and customers.
- Experience/ Knowledge in delivering detailed 'handovers' for the outbound Sales Team
- Contacting existing and new clients
**Essential requirements for the role**
- Telesales experience/ B2B Business Development office-based experience
- Working to daily/weekly/monthly targets and KPIs
- Ability to convert a high volume of incoming leads
**Person Specification**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Can work under pressure and to deadlines
- Can work with people from different departments to get to the right outcome
- Enthusiasm, drive, and self-motivation
- Confident, methodical with great listening skills
- Working within Financial Services would be advantageous
**Hours**
Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:30
**Contract Type**
Full Time, Permanent - Remote/ Hybrid
**Salary**
£40,000 - £45,000 pa + commission
