We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Systems Specialist to join the Capability team within the Procurement & Commercial Function of the Electronics Division of Leonardo.

Developing strong relationships across functions and excellent communication skills will be key to being successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provision of specialist systems support to the team at all UK operating locations.
- Continuously assess and optimise deployed systems to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Contributes to the definition and successful delivery of the overall UK Business Systems plan objectives.
- Ownership of specific systems related projects within the Business Systems Team, from initial requirements identification, solution development, change request definition and implementation.
- Enable the Procurement & Commercial function to become increasingly data-driven through the creation of systems-based reporting solutions.
- Provision of central reporting services in support of the requirements of the wider function.
- Creation and delivery of appropriate training material, to ensure the Procurement team attain the correct level of capability in using Business Systems.
- Oversee data accuracy, integrity, and security within systems to support informed decision-making.
- Investigate and resolve system-related issues, working closely with IT and relevant stakeholders to minimise disruptions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, actively seeking opportunities to develop new skills contributing to improved procurement system management.
- Support our Governance teams through the creation of processes using ProMapp
- Promote knowledge management through the development of SharePoint-based solutions.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge:

- The ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders across UK Procurement and related functions.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate effective collaboration.
- Strong expertise in SAP to effectively navigate and utilise Procurement and Commercial modules.
- Familiarity with SharePoint for document management, collaboration, and information sharing.
- Ability to use ProMapp for process mapping and documentation, ensuring process clarity and standardisation.
- Highly IT literate. Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Access Databases and Visual Basic.net.
- A working knowledge and understanding of Procurement & Commercial competencies is desirable but not essential.
- Adept at analysing data and identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
