Dispatch Assistant

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Our Dispatch Assistant at Minor Figures, you’ll assist with the preparation, packing, processing and dispatch of orders in accordance with dispatch quality standards.

It’s key that you ensure anything that leaves the building adheres to the highest of standards that are Minor Figures, working closely with the Fulfillment Manager/Customer Service Team to ensure any issues directly relating to client orders are resolved in a timely manner. A major focus for this role will be to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the dispatch area and also the larger warehouse space.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
This isn’t your traditional Dispatch role, which is like all roles at Minor Figures. You’ll be part of something much bigger than the ‘standard’ role.

**DISPATCH**
- Assist with the daily order schedule and ensure orders are dispatched correctly and accurately.
- Ensure packaging standards are upheld for every item that leaves the warehouse.
- Maintain stock levels of all areas directly relating to the packaging and packing of orders. Assist the Fulfillment Manager in completing daily, weekly and monthly stock counts to ensure prompt and accurate stock management.
- Prepare, process and dispatch web orders/subscriptions in line with dispatch quality standards, including invoicing & booking in with the appropriate courier.
- Preparing and processing all internal requests received from Sales/Marketing or other departments and clearly communicating the status.
- Ensure confidentiality of all business-related information, including pricing, revenue, budgets, costs and other internal matters of any nature, is protected and not disclosed under any circumstances.
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by Directors/Owners/Management, from time to time, in order to ensure the continuous operation of the business.

**GOVERNANCE REPORTING**
- Attend daily/weekly Dispatch meetings to raise/address redeliveries, product and business updates.
- Attend quarterly All Hands and monthly UK team huddle company meetings

**KEY MEASURABLES**
- Accurate and timely dispatch of products/client daily orders.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Challenging ideas, questioning the norm and using initiative to turn advance systems and procedures.
- Embodiment & endorsement of the company lifestyle, culture and Minor Figures brand.

**ABOUT YOUR TEAM**:
You’ll be reporting into Ian, our Fulfillment Manager, who, in a short space of time, has contributed significantly to the way we operate in the Supply Chain and ensure the highest quality reaches our customers. You’ll be part of the wider Operations team, who love what they do and contribute to the growth of Minor Figures.

Experience wise, we’d love it the person we brought in brought with them a history of working in a warehouse environment and had stock management experience, packing and dispatch for both UK and internationally to both consumer, retail and business

But it’s not essential.

We want someone with a hard working nature, willingness to get stuck in, able to operate with a health and safety focus. It’s going to be a hands on, busy role, so the ability to priortise workload, work independently and a customer focused mindset is absolutely. We take pride in what we do, and this person must do too.
