The post holder will be expected to manage and co-ordinate the implementation of a new electronic Volunteer Management Software package, GoAssemble.
The post involves working across the whole organisation, developing connections with our staff, patients and carers as well as building networks with our local partners.
The Voluntary Services Lead will help to enhance the Trusts services through utilising the valuable contribution of our volunteers. The role will include recruitment and training of volunteers and some line management responsibility.
The role will also involve management and planning of a number of community groups for social inclusion, as well as a busy community transport service.
The ability to commute within the Trusts geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport is essential.
The key focus of the post is to complement and enhance services for both patients and carers. This is to be achieved by the recruitment of volunteers, forward thinking and development of partnerships with other agencies.
The post holder will offer a high standard of evidence based professional leadership, knowledge and development of Voluntary Services across the Trust.
