Housing Support Officer

**MUST* **be 18+, hold an SIA licence and driver's licence is a preference but not necessary.

Lingwood Security are recruiting for Housing Support Officers to maintain the safety and welfare of vulnerable individuals who are based in citizen housing, whilst controlling access to the site such as ensuring residents aren't bringing individuals into the building and carrying out welfare checks. You must be able to understand situations quickly, be resilient in dealing with other people's challenging behaviour, whilst following procedures and having excellent communication skills written and verbally.

You will be required to deal with scenarios that include basic safeguarding principles, so must be aware and proactive in taking action before harm occurs.

Hours of work will be nights 17:00-07:00 and 24-hour cover over the weekend. Roles will include full time and also ad hoc when the client requests security to assist.

You must have the following requirements for the role (if not training can be provided by the company):

- CCTV Licence
- SIA Licence
- Fire marshaling & Fire Prevention training
- Enhanced Disclosure
- First Aid
- Samaritans Training

**Monthly Pay (PAYE)**
