**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with children, encouraging them to express themselves and develop their social skills.
- Manage group dynamics, fostering a positive atmosphere where all children feel included and valued.
- Maintain a clean and organised play environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall objectives of the childcare setting.
- Drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences through creative play.
**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- A background in early childhood education or nursery care will be advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering children's development through play-based learning.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
