Experienced Creditor Liaison Officer required for our growing team in Bolton.

You will be working with the post appointment team, managing a portfolio of approximately 20,000 IVAs in a compliant and commercially successful manner.

As a Creditor Liaison Officer you will be responsible for creditor contact for queries, assignments, distribution queries and reconciliation of data.

**Position in Organisation**

Reports to the Creditor Liaison Team Leader.

**Scope of Job**
- To deal with general creditor / voting house queries.
- To maintain the creditor details and voting house databases.
- To maintain and update according to departmental processes, proofs of debts from creditors ensuring consequences of changes are managed effectively.
- To update client files with details of assigned debts.
- To identify reasons for returned distributions, investigate and rectify.
- To review and deal with terminated cases where funds have been paid into the account post termination.
- Ad hoc duties as required.

**LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT**
- To continue to learn about and understand existing products & services and keeping up to date with changes. To play a full and active role in the coaching process, ensuring that individual coaching objectives are met and your skill level is consistently developed.
- To assist with development of new colleagues through buddying after induction.
- To take responsibility for your own development and highlight training needs to your Line Manager.

**OTHER**

- Comply with GDPR Legislation concerning the disclosure of information
- Comply with all regulatory bodies e.g. ICAEW, IPA, FCA

**Qualifications**
- Educated to a GCSE standard or equivalent

**Experience**
- Friendly positive attitude with a ‘can do’ approach to work
- Experience of Creditor Liaison in the IVA industry is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
- Highly self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PC and keyboard skills including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Confident phone manner
- Someone with a keen eye for detail and meticulous in their work
- A flexible fun-loving people person who is a team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
