Job description
**Why is the role important?**
The Liaison Officer delivers a liaison service for repairs to Bolton at Home properties. They inform and involve customers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth development and delivery of the works. The role consults, informs and involves customers and other stakeholders, to develop and sustain positive partnerships and relationships to ensure the efficient delivery of Bolton at Home’s schemes of work.
**What’s involved?**
- Liaise with customers, other internal teams and stakeholders regularly to ensure the safe delivery of works, including encouraging customer involvement in the design of works.
- Collaborate with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure that works are undertaken with the minimum of inconvenience to the customer. This may include making arrangements for temporary accommodation where decants are required in order to facilitate the required works.
- Respond to queries and complaints from customers regarding any programmed work and special projects, ensuring an appropriate response to any problems identified.
- Support customers to complete forms related to decoration allowance, subsistence allowance and insurance etc.
- Arrange and attend meetings on site for customers and other stakeholders (e.g. other residents, contractors and Bolton Council).
- Maintain accurate records and add updates to trackers, systems etc. in line with GDPR regulations.
- Monitor customer involvement and satisfaction by carrying out regular customer satisfaction surveys, and analyse the data collected.
