**We are looking for an experienced and passionate Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our team at Eastleigh Court, Taunton**

At Eastleigh Court, Rethink Mental Illness have 20 separate low-need supported housing rooms, in shared living accommodation which are suitable for people aged 18 years and over and who are affected by mental illness.

Our shared housing in central Taunton, offers a slightly higher level of support, with staff being on site during the day and sites are monitored at night by security and is staffed at weekends to ensure your safety.

**How you will make a difference**:
As a Support Worker, you'll help individuals with mental illness regain confidence and participate in daily activities. You’ll work closely with service users to achieve personal goals and access the support needed for their recovery.
- I provide key worker support to a specified number of service users, including one to one individual support and liaison with other mental health agencies on behalf of people who use our services.
- I always have the individual’s needs at the forefront, working to the recovery model and using communication, motivation and coaching skills to support the service user to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- I develop a rapport with service users based on respect and honesty and work within clear professional boundaries and the Rethink Mental Illness Code of Conduct.
- I enable and encourage service users to find out about local services and facilities within their community and facilitate access to alternative services where specific needs are identified.
- I am familiar with individual Care/Recovery Plans and support people who use our services in achieving their goals.
