We are looking for a Live-in Housekeeper and Groundsman / Maintenance Man for a large farmhouse near Chipping Norton. The family consists of 4 children under 16, and they have 4 dogs, 3 cats, chickens and Highland Cattle. The farmhouse sits within 100 acres.

The accommodation is a separate, private 3-bedroom cottage with a large garden. All bills will be paid.

You will be asked to undertake the below:

- **Domestic responsibilities**:_
- _Cleaning and housekeeping to a very high standard throughout the home (there is already a cleaner / nanny who works Tuesday to Friday to help)_
- Clothes care, _laundry and ironing (care of fine fabrics)._
- W_ardrobe and household organisation/management_
- _Preparing simple meals for the children/ family on occasion and preparing/washing/peeling vegetables for meals at the weekend as/when required._
- _Helping in the kitchen when entertaining guests._
- _Basic Front of House (serving and pouring wine at informal meals)_
- _Care and cleaning of high quality furnishings, fine art and fabrics._
- _Helping with planning family parties and entertaining_
- _Occasional teenage/children’s activities supervision or planning._
- _School runs_
- _Running errands (post office, dry cleaning, shopping, vets etc)_
- _Driving (occasional school run/pick ups)_
- _Caring for the family’s pets_
- _Pet and house sitting in employer’s absence_
- **Grounds/General Household responsibilities**_
- _Household maintenance and general handy work throughout the house_
- _Driving the family_
- _Light gardening and assisting the Head Gardener, grounds/estate maintenance._
- _Looking after a fleet of cars_
- _Liaising with security providers and monitoring systems._
- _Pool maintenance alongside contractor and existing team_
- _Help with caring for the family pets._
- _Machinery maintenance._
- _Helping/serving when entertaining_
- _Key holding and security_
- _Assisting in overseeing projects and building work_
- _Assisting in looking after the pets and animals of the employers_
- _Occasional teenage/children’s activities supervision._
- _School runs_
- _Running errands (post office, dry cleaning, shopping, vets etc)_
- You must be organised, proactive and flexible with a positive attitude.
- You must be discreet.
- You must have a genuine love of children and animals.
- You should work well together and be confident of managing their time and responsibilities efficiently with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ideally both drivers but at least one should hold a full, clean British driver’s licence.
- You must have strong communication skills.
- You should be energetic self-starters with initiative and be confident in your command of both the home and garden.
- You must be able to maintain the household and laundry to an exceptional standard.
- You must be confident in dealing with other service people and providers.

Salary dependent upon experience.
