Retail Operations Coordinator

**Description**:
Jo Malone London has an opportunity for a Retail Operations Coordinator, reporting to the Retail Operations Senior Manager. This role will be predominately field-based, with 80% of the week being spent out in the field, travelling within the UK.

The Retail Operations Coordinator will supports the Retail Operations team in the day-to-day management across Retail Operations, Omni Channel Development and Fleet & Distribution for stores and online. This role provides essential operational support to Free-Standing Stores (FSS) and the concession estate, ensuring the smooth running of operational processes and policies. The coordinator is responsible for a variety of tasks including day to day operational support as well as co-ordinating key projects across all channels of the business.

**Retail Operations**:

- Working with Field/Sales team and Store Managers to drive efficiencies and improve ways of working to allow customer to be the priority
- Supports delivery of elevated boutique experience ensuring luxury proposition and brand equity is maintained
- Works closely with property services & IT on store maintenance approvals and job completion
- Owning brand orders for hygiene and stationery through Office Depot & Self Service
- Communicating key corporate hygiene and health & safety updates to Field/Sales team
- Co ordinating the rapid response protocol for incidents that impact business continuity
- Supports the Operations Manager in key weekly/monthly and adhoc ops communications
- Supports in managing the flow and frequency of communication from head office to Stores and Field Sales team
- Advise stores on operational processes, procedures, and policies, ensuring adherence to best practices.

**Omni Channel Distribution**:

- Supporting the Retail Operations Manager with omni-channel expansion and implementation and roll out of new initiatives
- Support with all new distribution set ups, pre-opening critical path communication across all functions set up’s, raising operations orders for equipment and resources for new distribution launch
- Supports digital teams with onboarding of new retailer/pureplay digital platforms
- Works along side Omni Operations Manager in new boutique and refit process communicating across corporate stakeholders, RDDC, Store Design, VM, IT and Maintenance
- Updating and monitoring door book identifying opportunities and risk with lease renewals, investment and rolling profitability
- Operational support for divestment/close down of boutiques or short term pop ups
- Operational input into key brand activations and pop ups
- Aiding the roll out of personalisation across Bricks & Clicks

**Qualifications**:
**CHARACTERISTICS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE**:

- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment or a head office retail team.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities to handle operational discrepancies efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of analytics & visualisation tools such as Google Analytics and/or Power BI
- Focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Enthusiastic about working with data - experience in interpreting information & delivering actionable insights
- Passion for and knowledge of the beauty industry; retail experience is desirable but not essential
- Results driven with a challenger mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
