We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person to work with us on a seconded basis in the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) to act as an internal equity, equality, diversity and inclusion (EEDI) expert providing advice and support to the LMNS team as well as a broad range of stakeholders across maternity/neonatal services and perinatal/maternal mental health.

Our Equity and Equality Lead will have demonstrable knowledge, literacy and experience in this area and a passion and commitment to achieving equity and equality during maternity and neonatal care for women, pregnant people and their families, with a strong interest in ensuring womens mental health is prioritised in this period as well, and will understand how to support healthcare professionals to also do this.
