Castle Industrial and Construction are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our reputable food manufacturing client in the Malton Area.

**This role is commutable from Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington, Norton, Malton &York. WE PROVIDE TRANSPORT TO AND FROM SCARBOROUGH DAILY.**

Starting salary is £23,091 per annum.

**Working hours a Team Leader;**
Week 1: 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday
Week 2: 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday

Duties as a Team Leader:

- **You will be accountable for your individual line/ area and the teams which are assigned to that line /area with a focus on the day-to-day management of the line and the people assigned to them to successfully deliver the daily plan.**:

- Supports the Operations strategy in managing the operational function within the manufacturing unit
- ensuring all operational KPI'S are achieved and finished products are safe and conform to all relevant specifications, legislation, and customer requirements.
- Supports the maintenance of an innovative environment that encourages colleague participation in raising standards of quality, team working and communication.
- Champion health and safety on site ensuring that a safe working environment exists for all colleagues and that as a minimum they meet the standards set out in relevant health, safety and environmental policies
