Safeguard Security (NE) Ltd is an established business providing security solutions to clients throughout the North East.

We are seeking a full time Security Control Room Operator to assist us with the needs of the business. This role is permanent 12hr Night shifts including Bank holidays/weekends as a 4 on 4 off rota.

We are currently seeking a vigilant, proactive, and responsible Security Control Room Operator to join our team in providing essential 24/7 support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to identify potential security threats.
- Respond to security incidents in real time and coordinate with on-site personnel.
- Liaise with clients to address specific security needs and update Assignment Instructions as required.
- Record and report incidents accurately in line with company policies.
- Maintain open and clear communication with security staff and emergency services.
- Perform regular checks on control room equipment to ensure functionality.

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a valid SIA license.
- Previous experience in a security control room or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert during long shifts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to liaise professionally with clients and compile accurate Assignment Instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with monitoring software.
