**IT Support Specialist - £35K- Blackburn (Hybrid working)**

**Location: Blackburn, Lancashire**

One of my clients, are on the hunt for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be part of a modern, forward-thinking company who pride themselves on investing in their staff and progressing people through the company.

As the IT Support Specialist you will be a member of UK team providing (on-site and remote) desktop technical support. With over 200 users, they are wide spread from Australia and other areas in Europe

The IT Support Specialist is also responsible for Laptop/PC configuration and deployment and maintenance of IT hardware and software.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responding and resolving 1st/2nd Line support issues
- Desktop and software support
- Microsoft app support/admin/implementation (Sharepoint, Teams etc)
- Imaging of PC's using Microsoft technologies MDT and Intune
- Troubleshooting and solving hardware, software and connectivity issues

**Requirements**:

- Experience in an on-site or hybrid service desk role providing support for:

- Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems
- Office 365
- Microsoft Cloud technologies - Azure and Intune
- Active Directory - User management, Group Policy management
- Microsoft VPN and Direct Access technologies
- Endpoint security
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels within the organisation

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Operations/Manufacturing technology or software experience; OEE, SCADA
- SharePoint Online support
- Intune Mobile Endpoint or similar device management tools
- CRM and ERP systems support
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to be a self-starter but also flexible to operate in different sized project teams
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities and customer focused
- Passionate about technology with a desire to constantly update technical knowledge of hardware and software trends and advancements.
