Job Description*
Who are we looking for?*
UKAEA are looking for two Commercial Co-ordinators to join the team in the Commercial Department. As the Co-ordinator in this team you will provide advice and support to the Department. This includes controlling the registers of NDAs and Contracts, managing the review of signed documents and their document management, basic standard contract documentation production and assisting the department with coordinating activities.
This is a new role within a programme expanding UKAEA's interaction with industry and if you have an analytical mind, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and possess strong computer skills, coupled with good communication, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you to join our team.
**What will you be responsible for?**
- Responsible for the drafting commercial documentation using UKAEA templates
- Reviewing amendments and changes and be responsible for proposing improvements to the documentation
- Be first point of contact for NDAs and Confidentiality
- Be responsible for the electronic storage of commercial records, auditability, and archiving for the commercial documents agreed
- Working with the rest of the commercial team to provide consistent and high-quality services across the whole of UKAEA, this may include arrange meetings, making records/notes, actioning business improvement project activities and completing assigned project tasks
- Manage and develop the internal registers within the commercial department ensuring the process is handled effectively and process improvements implemented
- Work with Commercial Manager(s) and other team members to improve the Commercial Processes
Qualifications*
Essential Education, Skills, Experience and Competence required*
- HNC or equivalent (including experience) in a technical, business, or commercial discipline
- Have a discreet and professional approach to the sensitive and commercial information of the department
- IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Excellent technical report/minutes writing skills
- Ability to priorities work and work under pressure
- Be able to work autonomously, with initiative and minimum supervision
- Be flexible and able to work across several projects and in several different teams
**Desirable skills, experience and competence**
- Previous technical administrative experience is desirable
- Project Management / Support experience
- Commercial environment experience
